How to clean Pre Filter in VENTUS, AURA, HERA purifiers ?

Pre Filter in VENTUS, AURA, HERA purifiers can be removed and cleaned by washing with HELSA All-Purpose Cleaner, or dish washing liquid, or soap water, and then dried in the sun or leave to dry. It is not recommended to clean with detergent because it may cause the filter to be deteriorated quickly.

What is the life span of air purifier’s filter ?

The company recommends appropriate duration is 1 year to maintain the best efficiency. Life span of the filter depends on many factors such as room size, amount of dust or dirt in the area where air purifier is used, environment, and air purifier usage duration. Therefore, customer should check the filter of air purifier regularly.

How many times should purifier that uses LUX P.O.E do the backwash ?

For the best result, the company recommends that you do backwash once a week.

Can purifier that uses LUX P.O.E filter ground water or seawater ?

No. purifier that uses LUX P.O.E is designed to be used with tap water only.

LUX ALVA ROYAL water purifier indicate red light at the front.

The cause may be due to UV Lamp is out or intensity is insufficient. It is recommended that you notify customer service center to replace UV Lamp.

LUX ALVA ROYAL water purifier functions normally, but red light is blinking.

Filter has expired. It is recommended that you change the filter.

What is the cause for no flow or slow flow of water purifier ?

Cause may be due to water supply system in the house or abnormality of the purifier.

  1. If the cause is water supply system in the house, it is recommended that customer check water supply system in the house such as valve, water pump, to see whether there is any light warning for abnormality.
  2. If the case is water purifier, it is recommended that customer check whether filter is blocked.
Can LUX’s water purifier filter saltiness ?

No. But, normally Waterworks Authority already controls quality and remove saltiness.

Does LUX’s water purifier have the system that separate minerals from water ?

Minerals still remain in the water even though it passes through water purifier.

What’s the rate of water flow from water purifier?

Water flows from water purifier at the maximum rate of 2 liters/minute.

What’s the life span of UV lamp in the purifier?

Approximately 5,000-7,000 hours

What’s the life span of drinking water purifier’s filter?

Life span of filter mainly depends on duration of purifier. However, the company recommends suitable duration, i.e. it should be changed every year.

How does UV light kill bacteria?

Bacteria increases in number by cell division. When cells are exposed to UV light, they cannot increase in number because cell will stop growing and cannot propagate. When they cannot increase in number, bacteria will eventually die. Dead bacteria will break off. They will disappear like popped bubbles.
